THE LORE OF ELARION

SKYBORN

The heavens remember a way the earth has forgotten.

BENEATH THE STARS

High above much of Elarion, the Skyborn have built a civilization shaped by the heavens. To them, the night sky is not empty distance. It is order, movement, pattern, and mystery.

Their oldest scholars have watched the stars for generations, convinced that creation above still carries knowledge that the world below has lost.

THE CELESTIAL WAY

The Skyborn believe the Creator dwells beyond the visible heavens, and that the stars preserve signs of the way back to Him.

Astronomy, celestial calculation, ancient observation, and powers other peoples regard as mysterious all grew from that conviction.

To understand the heavens is, to the Skyborn, to search for the road home.

A CIVILIZATION ABOVE

Their long study of the heavens has shaped more than scholarship. It has shaped how the Skyborn understand themselves.

They value knowledge, order, lineage, discipline, and mastery. From their heights, the civilizations below can appear fragmented, hurried, and bound to concerns the Skyborn consider small.

DRAGONS AND THE HEIGHTS

Dragons occupy a place in Skyborn memory that few outsiders fully understand. Their connection reaches into old traditions, old fears, and mysteries that are not easily explained beyond the heights.

For the Skyborn, dragons and the heavens belong to questions far older than the kingdoms of humankind.

LOOKING UPWARD

Other peoples may see stars and wonder. The Skyborn see a language not yet fully read.

Generation after generation, they continue to watch.

And so they keep looking upward.
