THE MEMORY OF WATER
The Seafolk begin with a simple truth: life depends upon water.
Rain, river, tide, blood, and sea are not separate mysteries to them, but parts of a greater movement whose beginning lies beyond ordinary sight.
THE SOURCE BELOW
They believe water comes ultimately from the Creator, and that the deepest waters preserve a path toward that first Source.
The sea has no bottom in the way outsiders imagine it. The farther the Seafolk have descended, the more the deep has refused to become empty.
TRACES IN THE DEEP
Far below the familiar waters, Seafolk traditions speak of signs that should not be there—structures, marks, and traces suggesting that the deep has carried memory for longer than any living kingdom.
These discoveries do not answer their questions. They deepen them.
TO RETURN
For the Seafolk, descent is not merely exploration. It is remembrance.
If water is the beginning of life, and if its first Source is the Creator, then to follow the waters toward their beginning is to search for the way back.
And so they keep going deeper.
